1- रूपरेखा:- प्राचीन भारतीय इतिहास को खंगालने से ज्ञात होता है की हमारे पूर्वजों ने जीवन को सुव्यवस्थित ढंग से बिताने के लिए इसे चार भागों में बाँटा था-- ब्रह्मचर्य, गृहस्थ, वानप्रस्थ और अन्याय। इसकी महत्ता का प्रतिपादन करने के लिए उन्होंने इसकी आवश्यकता को सर्वोपरि समझते हुए इन्हें "आश्रम" का नाम दिया था। मानव-जीवन का प्रथम सोपान ब्रह्मचर्य आश्रम अर्थात विद्यार्थी जीवन ही है। विद्यार्थी जीवन में उपरोक्त बताये नियमों को अपनाना होता है।

1- Outline: - Scrutiny of ancient Indian history, it is known that our ancestors had divided it into four parts in order to live life in an orderly manner - Brahmacharya, Grihastha, Vanaprastha and injustice. In order to prove its importance, considering its need paramount, he named them "Ashram". The first stage of human life is Brahmacharya Ashram i.e. student life. The above mentioned rules have to be followed in student life.
2- जीवन का स्वर्ण काल:- "विद्यार्थी जीवन" मनुष्य का सर्वाधिक सर्वश्रेष्ठ काल कहा गया है। इस समय का सदुपयोग कर मनुष्य अपने जीवन को सुखमय बनाने का सफल प्रयत्न के सकता है। इस समय विद्यार्थी पर भोजन, वस्त्रों की कोई चिंता या भर नहीं होता। उसका मन और मस्तिष्क निर्विकार होता है। उसके शरीर और मस्तिष्क की शक्तियां विकासोन्मुख होती हैं। इस स्वर्णकाल में उसके लिए केवल एक ही कार्य होता है।और वह है--अपनी सम्पूर्ण प्रवृत्तियों को विद्या के अर्जन की और लगाना।'आदर्श विद्यार्थी'

2- Golden period of life: - "Student life" has been said to be the best period of man. By making good use of this time, a person can make successful efforts to make his life happy. At this time, the student does not have to worry about food, clothes or anything. His mind and soul are impeccable. The powers of his body and mind are development oriented. There is only one task for him in this golden age. And that is to channel all his tendencies towards the acquisition of knowledge.
ऐसे भ जाने-
3- विद्यार्थी जीवन के उद्देश्य:- विद्यार्थी शब्द का अर्थ है-- विद्या का अर्थी अर्थात विद्या को चाहने वाला, किन्तु उसका एक मात्र उद्देश्य विद्या प्राप्त करना ही नहीं, अपितु विद्यार्थियों के चरित्र निर्माण शारीरिक तथा मानसिक उन्नति और सदगुणों की प्राप्ति की ओर भी विशेष ध्यान देना चाहिए। इस वर्कर विद्यार्थी जीवन के प्रधानतः तीन उद्देश्य हो जाते हैं (क)- विद्या प्राप्ति (ख)- चरित्र निर्माण (ग)- शारिरिक तथा मानसिक विकास।

3- Objectives of student life:- The word student means-- Vidya means one who wants to learn, but his only aim is not only to acquire education, but to build the character of the students, towards physical and mental progress and towards the attainment of virtues. Special attention should also be given. There are mainly three objectives of this worker student life (a) - attainment of education (b) - character building (c) - physical and mental development.
(क)- विद्या प्राप्ति:- विद्या से तात्पर्य केवल पुस्तकीय ज्ञान से नहीं है। विद्यार्थी को अपने चारों ओर प्रकृति की सुरम्य छटा को आँख खोलकर देखना चाहिए। ऐसा करने से उसके ज्ञान में विविधता और उनकेअवलोकन में सूक्ष्मदर्शिता आ जाती है। पुस्तकों में वह जिन वर्णनों को पढ़ता है, उन्हें प्रकृति में साकार देखकर उनका मन आनंद- विभोर हो जाता है और उसके ह्रदय में स्वभाव से ही दिव्य गुणों का विकास होने लगता है।'आदर्श विद्यार्थी'

A- learning:- Knowledge does not mean only bookish knowledge. The student should open his eyes to the picturesque shade of nature around him. Doing so brings diversity in his knowledge and finesse in his observation. Seeing the descriptions he reads in the books, seeing them come true in nature, his mind becomes blissful and divine qualities begin to develop in his heart by nature.
(B)- चरित्र-निर्माण:- ये तो मानव मात्र के लिए चरित्र निर्माण की आवश्यकता होती है, किन्तु विद्यार्थी के लिए तो इसकी प्रधान आवश्यकता है।श्रेष्ठ चरित्र के अभाव में विद्या-विभूषित मनुष्य को भी कोई आदर दृष्टि से नहीं देखता। चरित्र के निर्माण के लिए विद्यार्थी को 'आत्म-संयमी' होना चाहिए। संयम के विना विद्या को प्राप्त करना एक कठिन कार्य है। जिसका मन चंचल है, जो पढ़ते-पढ़ते आकाश में वायुयान की आवाज को सुनकर उसे देखने दौड़ पड़ता है, सिनेमा जाने वालों के आहान पर किताबों को फेककर उनके साथ हो लेता है, चाट वाले कि घण्टी की आवाज सुन उसे खाने के लिए दौड़ पड़ता है, वह क्या कभी लिख-पढ़ सकता है,कदापि नहीं ऐसे विधार्थी विद्या ज्ञान से कोसों दूर रहते हैं और इनके वस में पढाई-लिखाई नाम मात्र की नहीं होती।
ऐसे भी पढ़ें-
चरित्र की श्रेष्ठता के लिए ब्रम्हचर्य व्रत का पालन तथा मादक पदार्थों के सेवन से दूर रहने की आवश्यकता है।सत्संगति के विना चरित्र निर्माण असंभव है।दुष्टों की संगत ,अच्छे पुरुषों को भी अवनति के गर्त में गिरा देती है। शील, विनय,सदाचार, अनुशासनहीनता, बड़ों का आदर ऐसे गुण है, जिनका होना एक विद्यार्थी के लिए आवश्यक होता है।विद्यार्थी-जीवन ही इन गुणों के विकास का सर्वोत्तम अवसर है।
(B) - Character-building: - This is the need of character building only for human beings, but it is the main requirement for the student. In the absence of best character, no one looks at the learned man with respect. To build character the student should be 'self-restraint'. It is a difficult task to attain knowledge without restraint. One whose mind is restless, one who reads and runs to see the sound of the aircraft in the sky, throws books at the call of the cinema-goers and joins them, on hearing the sound of the chaat-wallah rushes to eat it. That is, can he ever write and read, never such students stay far away from the knowledge of knowledge and education and writing are not mere names in their control.
For the superiority of character, there is a need to observe the vow of brahmacharya and abstain from the consumption of intoxicants. Without good company, character building is impossible. The company of the wicked makes even good men fall into the pit of degradation. Modesty, modesty, virtue, indiscipline, respect for elders are such qualities, which are necessary for a student. Student life is the best opportunity to develop these qualities.
(C)- शारीरिक तथा मानसिक उन्नति:- मष्तिष्क का विकास शरीर के विकास के विना असम्भव है। व्यायाम तथा आसनों के प्रयोग शरीर को स्वस्थ रखने में बहुत योगदान देते हैं। स्वछ वायु में प्रातः तथा सायंकाल का भ्रमण जीवन शक्ति को बढ़ाता है,और चित्त को प्रफुल्लित रखता है,जिससे स्वस्थ्य जीवन का निर्माण होता है।
हमारे प्राचीन शास्त्रों में चरित्र गठन के लिए विद्यार्थी में निम्न पांच लक्षणों का होना बताया गया है जो इस प्रकार हैं--
काक चेष्टा वकोध्यानं श्वाननिद्रा तथैव च।
अल्पाहारी, गृहत्यागी, विद्यार्थी पञ्चलक्षणः।।

(C) - Physical and mental progress: - The development of the brain is impossible without the development of the body. Exercise and use of asanas contribute a lot in keeping the body healthy. Morning and evening walk in clean air increases the vitality, and keeps the mind cheerful, which leads to the creation of a healthy life.
In our ancient scriptures, for the formation of character, the following five characteristics have been told in the student, which are as follows-
Kaak tryta vakodhyanam sleep sleep and ch.
Non-vegetarian, homemaker, student Panchalakshan..
4- उपसंहार:- उक्त विवरण से सपष्ट हो जाता है कि विद्यार्थी का जीवन बड़ा ही उत्तरदायित्वपूर्ण है। इस काल में बालक को सदा ही सावधान तथा सचेष्ट रहना पड़ता है। वह चैन की वंशी नहीं बजा सकता । सुख तथा विद्या का वैर है। एक को चाहनेवाले को दूसरे की प्राप्ति नहीं होती।'आदर्श विद्यार्थी'
यदि भारतीय विद्यार्थी, विद्यार्थी-जीवन की श्रेष्ठता को समझकर उसे आदर्श बनाने की ओर उन्मुख हो तो वह दिन दूर नहीं, जब वे अपने को सत्यम शिवम सुंदरम का लक्ष्य प्राप्त कर देश की चहुमुखी प्रगति कर सकेंगे। तो ये आदेश विद्यार्थी के गुण व दोषों की कहानी।
