1- प्रस्तावना:- पिछले कई वर्षों से देश में कम्प्यूटर की चर्चा काफी जोर-शोर से हो रही है।देश को कम्प्यूटरीकृति करने के प्रयास किये जा रहे हैं।हमारे देश के अधिकतर उद्योग-धन्धों व संस्थानों में कम्प्यूटर का उपयोग होने लगा है। सरकारी प्रश्ठानों में कम्प्यूटर लगाने की भारी होड़ लगी हुई है। कम्प्यूटर आज के समय का मुख्य भाग बन गया है।

1- Preface: - For the past many years, the discussion of computer is being done very loudly in the country. Efforts are being made to computerize the country. Computer is being used in most of the industries and institutions of our country. . There is a huge competition to install computers in government establishments. Computer has become the main part of today's time.
2- कम्प्यूटर क्या है?:- कम्प्यूटर क्या है? इस विषय में जिज्ञासा स्वाभाविक है। कम्प्यूटर एक ऐसा यांत्रिक मष्तिष्क है,जिसमें विभिन्न गणित सम्बन्धी सूत्रों एवं तथ्यों के संचालन का कार्यक्रम पहले ही समायोजित कर दिया जाता है। इसके आधार के कम्प्यूटर न्यूनतम समय में गणना कर तथ्यों को प्रस्तुत कर देता है। कम्प्यूटर सर्बधिक तीब्र ,शुद्ध एवं सबसे उपयोगी गणना करने वाला यंत्र कम्प्यूटर ही है। चाल्स बेवज पहले व्यक्ति थे, जिन्होंने 19वी शताब्दी के आरम्भ में पहला कम्प्यूटर बनाया था। यह कम्प्यूटर लम्बी गणनाएं कर सकता था और उनके परिणामों को मुद्रित कर देता था।

Computer is such a mechanical brain, in which the program of operation of various mathematical formulas and facts is already adjusted. Based on this, the computer calculates and presents the facts in minimum time. Computer is the fastest, purest and most useful computing device. Charles Bewaj was the first person who built the first computer in the early 19th century. This computer could perform long calculations and print their results.

A- बैंकिंग के क्षेत्र में कम्प्यूटर:- भारतीय बैंकों में खातों के संचालन और हिसाब-किताब रखने के लिए कम्प्यूटर का उपयोग किया जाने लगा है। अनेक राष्ट्रीकृत बैंकों ने चुम्बकीय संख्याओं वाली नयी चैक बुक जारी की है। यूरोप के कई देशों ने तो ऐसी व्यवस्थाये की हैं कि घर के निजी कम्प्यूटर को बैंकों के कम्प्यूटरों के साथ जोड़ कर लेन-देन का व्यवहार किया जा सकता है।

A- Computer in the field of banking:- Computer is being used in Indian banks to operate accounts and keep accounts. Many nationalized banks have issued new check books with magnetic numbers. Many countries of Europe have made such arrangements that the personal computer of the home can be connected with the computers of the banks and transactions can be done.
B- प्रकाशन के क्षेत्र में कम्प्यूटर:- समाचार-पत्र और पुस्तकों के प्रकाशन में कम्प्यूटर विशेष योगदान कर रहा है। सबसे पहले लेख सम्पादित होकर कुंजी-पटल के माध्यम से होकर कम्प्यूटर में संग्रहित हिता है। टंकित मैटर को कम्प्यूटर के पर्दे पर देखा जा सकता है। यदि कहीं त्रुटि है तो उन्हें संशोधित किया जाता है।अतः प्रकाशन के क्षेत्र में कम्प्यूटर ने एक क्रांतिकारी कदम रखा है जिससे सारे काम आसान हो गए हैं।

C- सूचना और समाचार प्रेरण के रूप में:- दूरसंचार के क्षेत्र में भी कम्प्यूटर की भूमिका सराहनीय है। आज 'कम्प्यूटर नेटवर्क' के माध्यम से देश के प्रमुख नगरों को एक दूसरे से जोड़ने की व्यवस्था भी की जा रही है। दूर देश में रहकर भी व्यक्ति अपनों से जुड़ा रहता है।

D- डिजाइनिंग के क्षत्रों में:- आजकल कम्प्यूटर ग्राफिक्स का व्यापक उपयोग किया जा रहा है। कम्प्यूटर के माध्यम से भवनों, मोटर गाड़ियों, हवाई जहाज आदि के डिजाइन तैयार किये जा रहे हैं। वास्तुशिल्पी अपना डिजाइन कम्प्यूटर के स्क्रीन पर तैयार करते हैं, तथा साथ में लगे प्रिंटर के द्वारा प्रिंट भी प्राप्त कर लेते हैं।

D- In the fields of designing:- Nowadays computer graphics are being widely used. Designs of buildings, motor vehicles, airplanes etc. are being prepared through computer. The architects prepare their designs on the screen of the computer, and also get the prints through the attached printer.
E- कला के क्षेत्र में कम्प्यूटर का उपयोग:- कलाकार को अब ना तो कैनवास की आवश्यकता है, न रंग और ब्रश की। कम्प्यूटर के सामने बैठा कलाकार अपने नियोजित प्रोग्राम के अनुसार स्क्रीन पर चित्र बनाता है। स्क्रीन पर निर्मित यह चित्र प्रिंट की 'कुंजी' दवाते ही प्रिंटर द्वारा कागज पर अपने उन्हीं वास्तविक रंगों के साथ प्रिंट हो जाता है।

E- Use of computer in the field of art: - The artist no longer needs canvas, nor paint and brush. The artist sitting in front of the computer draws the picture on the screen according to his planned program. This image produced on the screen is printed by the printer with its original colors on the paper as soon as the 'key' of the print is pressed.
F- वैज्ञानिक अनुसंधान के क्षेत्र में:- अब कम्प्यूटर ने अनुसंधान के स्वरूप की भी बदल दिया है। अंतरिक्ष विज्ञान के क्षेत्र में क्रांति उत्पन्न कर दी है अब सारे अनुसंधान कम्प्यूटर से ही किये जाते हैं जिससे इनसे प्राप्त परिणाम अधिक विस्वास्नीय और प्रामाणित होते हैं।

F- In the field of scientific research:- Now computer has changed the nature of research as well. A revolution has been created in the field of space science, now all the research is done by computer, due to which the results obtained from them are more reliable and authentic.
G- औधोगिक के क्षत्रों में:- बड़े-बड़े उद्योग-धंधों में मशीनों के संचालन का कार्य कम्प्यूटर सम्भाल रहे हैं। कम्प्यूटर की सहायता से रोबोट ऐसी मशीनों का संचालन कर रहे हैं जिनका संचालन मानव के लिए बहुत कठिन हुआ करता था।

G- In industrial areas:- Computers are handling the operation of machines in big industries. With the help of computers, robots are operating such machines, which used to be very difficult for humans to operate.
H- युद्ध के क्षेत्र में:-कम्प्यूटर का आविष्कार एक युद्ध उपकरण के रूप में ही हुआ है। अमेरिका में पहले इलैक्ट्रोनिक कम्प्यूटर का उपयोग एटम बम से सम्बंधित गणनाओं के लिए हुए था। अतः युद्ध के क्षेत्र में भी कम्प्यूटर बहुत उपयोगी सावित हो रहे हैं। जिससे उपयोग से जान- माल की हानि में भी गिरावट देखी जा रही है।

H- In the field of war:- Computer has been invented only as a war tool. In America, the first electronic computers were used for calculations related to the atom bomb. Therefore computers are proving to be very useful even in the field of war. Due to which there is also a decline in the loss of life and property due to use.
4- कम्प्यूटर और मानव मष्तिष्क:- यह प्रश्न भी स्वाभाविक है,कि क्या कम्प्यूटर और मानव मष्तिष्क की तुलना की जा सकती है? इन दिनों में कौन श्रेष्ठ है? कम्प्यूटर का निर्माण भी मानव बुद्ध ने ही किया है। कम्प्यूटर कोई भी निर्णय स्वंय नहीं ले सकता और ना ही कोई नवीन विचार सोच सकता है।

4- Computer and human brain: - This question is also natural, whether computer and human brain can be compared? Who is the best these days? The human Buddha has also created the computer. Computer cannot take any decision on its own nor can think of any new idea.
5- उपसंहार:- भारत जिस गति से कम्प्यूटर की ओर अग्रसारित हो रहा है,उसे देखकर ऐसा लग रहा है किहम अपने आप को कम्प्यूटर के हमले करने के लिए विवश किये जा रहे हैं। यह सही है कि कम्प्यूटर ने जो भी एकत्र किया है, वह आज के असाधारण बुद्धिजीवियों की देन है, लेकिन हम यह प्रश्न पूछने के लिए विवश हैं कि जो स्मरण-शक्ति कम्प्यूटर को दी गई है उससे बाहर क्या हमारा कोई अस्तित्व नहीं है। हमे कम्प्यूटर पर पूरी तरह आश्रित ना हिकर अपने अस्तित्व को भी बचाना चाहिए। कम्प्यूटर के चलन के जहां कार्य करना आसान हुआ है वही मानव जाति में वेरिजगारों कई फौज तैयार हो गई है यह भ हमे ही सोचना पड़ेगा समाधान निकालने पड़ेगा।

5- Epilogue: - Seeing the speed with which India is moving towards computers, it seems that we are being forced to attack our computers. It is true that whatever the computer has collected is the gift of today's extraordinary intellectuals, but we are compelled to ask the question whether we have any existence outside the memory power given to the computer. We should also save our existence by not completely dependent on the computer. Where work has become easier due to the use of computers, many soldiers have been prepared in the human race, we will have to think that we will have to find a solution.
